Writing 101 Challenge #5; Certificates

I was ravaging through my mum’s documents. I probably shouldn’t have. And with what I found, I definitely shouldn’t have.

It stung.

Cut through my heart. I couldn’t move. I must have stared at it for ten, maybe twenty minutes.

It was a certificate. A death certificate. My father’s.

I broke down.
